Alas....the first tooth surfaces!

In the last day or so Karson's first tooth came through. He's been a real trooper while awaiting it's arrival.
KK sported his very first stylish ball cap last week. He has a little head according to the growth charts so the hats were always too big. He is 7 months old today. He had his 6 month check up a few weeks ago. He's just a few ounces shy of 18lbs, 26 1/2 inches long. He loves his bath time.

Karson with Cousins Ella & Owen

On Monday, Auntie Brigitte from Midland, MI called with news that her and cousins Ella & Owen were stuck overnight in Minneapolis as their flight to Rapid City had been canceled due to bad weather. We went to the hotel and spent a few hours visiting. It was great! We got to see Owen for the first time and see Ella & Brig. As well as they got to meet Karson for the first time.

Six Months Old...Already

We are enjoying watching him grow and change. Finally, we've settled into a schedule for naps and night time.
He loves daycare, the kids keep him entertained well. His daycare lady told me that he's the best baby she's ever taken care of. I knew he was going to be perfect. ;)
We started feeding him baby food last week. He didn't even wince, make a face or spit it back out. So far, he eats everything you put in his mouth and gets mad if you don't feed him fast enough. At this point, he eats more variety of foods than his father.
KK still has no teeth, he's been chewing on his fingers or anything he can get into his mouths for about 3 months.

Visit from Grandpa Jim & Great Grandma Katie

Four generations: Katie Siver, Jim Siver, Alisha Kolb & Karson Kolb.

Grandpa Jim & Great Grandma Katie came to MN to visit us this week. It was a short trip but we enjoyed their time with us very much. We miss them! Grandma Jackie is still back in Texas, but we are planning a trip down south in April.
