We made a journey to the cities on Sunday, met up with the cousins for day two of fun. The MN Zoo was having a beach party with a gigantic sandbox filled with kids, buckets, and shovels. Now this was Karson's first time really playing in the sand or at least scooping. He was flinging sand all over innocent bystanders, we tried to keep him under control and help him scoop but then he would get mad. He loved it, I was sure some mom was going to be irate with me letting him throw sand everywhere. Most of the zoo is closed down for the winter but they did have some nice exhibits inside including an aquarium and a few outdoor animals we could watch. We are putting a summer trip on our calendar!Later in the day - Grandma Sandy & Grandpa Ron kept KK for a few hours so mom and dad could have a nice Valentine's Day supper. So nice!
StingrayThe glass was from floor to ceiling - Karson really thought this was cool.
Dolphins - they were putting on a show for us. Swimming in pairs, playing with a ball. Great Grandma Katie & Grandma Jackie would have loved it.
