Just proving he actually does have some hair, it's getting longer in the back but not so much on the top. Very light too, he did not take after me at all. Well, except his little temper he just discovered.

Weekend trip to DeSmet, SD

Karson LOVES bananas! While we were at Grandma Katie's Pete gave him the entire banana to just bite off of. He thought that was pretty cool.
We had a wonderful time but it was a short two days. We brought Pete's parents with us as they had never been to my lovely hometown. Took them to a few things including Redlin Art Center in Watertown and The Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant. Pete took his parents golfing at Kingsbury County Country Club while we visited with family. Karson liked playing with Cousin Tate and Aunt Vonnya. We all enjoyed a delicious supper at the Caberet in Carthage to celebrate Aaron and Pete's birthdays.

Weekend at the lake

We had some time this past weekend to spend at the lake with the Kolb's. Karson really loves to watch and play with cousins Andrew & Jeremy. We loaded up on the pontoon, drove out to the island where we could get off the boat to swim, except for Grandpa Beef as he didn't get off the boat. KK floats around, then he gets to the shallow area to walk around and play with the sand and rocks.

4th of July at the Kolb Cedar Lake Shore

We spent the 4th of July weekend at our lakeshore area with about 40 other friends and family. Some camped, others came for the day. We had a wonderful time. Some of the activities were playing volleyball, swimming at the island, fishing, grilling, parade, fireworks, boating, fish fry and much more. Karson was a trooper, he walked around with is scooter most of the day. It was amazing how well he did on the uneven, bumpy ground and in the sand volleyball court.

Caleb was due a couple months after Karson but he was born a month before him. He spent the first few months of his life in St Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN. He has come a really long way and is doing great, was fun for him to be able to come out and play over the holiday weekend.

Horse Ride - July 3rd, Lonsdale MN

In Lonsdale, they have their celebration in the evening of July 3rd. We always serve "fair food" out front of the cafe that night. They have kids games on the main street area. We took KK over to try the horsey ride out. He liked it at first but then started to cry.
