Karson had his first visit to the horse track today. He watched all the races, helped Grandma pick which numbers to bet on, had a pony ride, petted many horses and cheered while they were racing. We had a great family day!
With the help of family and friends, we were able to pull off a great surprise anniversary party for G & G Kolb. We had a wonderful time with everyone!
The Kolb crew comes to shore while the rest of the party attenders wait on shore to cheer and celebrate.

Karson's new play area went from a very neglected, weed infested garden to a gigantic sandbox with a jungle gym so kindly given to us by Uncle Patrick & Aunt Jen.

Not bad for his first time riding on a 4 wheeler alone! This new set of wheels showed up at Grandma Pat's house.
Last Sunday we went to White Bear Lake, MN to celebrate cousin Andrew's birthday. We enjoyed the nice day with family. It didn't take long for Karson and Katie to become friends.

Last weekend we took a journey down the road to a huge family friendly campground with our friends Chris & Tanya. There was a swimming pool, waterpark, animals to feed and pet, horses to ride and many activites going on each day. Conveniently, our camping spot was located right next to the animal barns and petting area. Karson fed them every morning and went to visit at least 5 times each day. 
Our friends daughter Riley was laying down in the baby pool and Karson took it upon himself to just plop down on her back like she was a chair.
We rented this miniature horse for a half hour. They let you take it by a leash and walk it all around the campground paths. Karson thought this was great. He kept saying "Mama, Daddy - he he" for horsey.

We enjoyed a get together at G & G Wersal's for Uncle Aaron & Daddy's birthday. Aaron brought a few of his friends for yet another pool day. We are loving the hot weather days.
