Potty Time

Karson seems to think it's fun to sit on his potty chair. So far no success but we are continuing to keep him interested and try before bath time.

Parades, Carousel Rides and Lots of Candy

The last 3 weekends we've attended a parade in a town near us. Karson didn't really like the horse carousel at first but has learned to really enjoy it. He is a pro at standing on the side of the street and collecting candy into his bucket from the parade floats. It was scary at first as he darts off so quickly I was not sure we could keep him under control but he learned fast and did very well the first parade so by the third one he was really a good boy and understood what was going on. Now we have to hide the candy and brush our teeth double time.

Grandpa Ron & Grandma Sandy had Karson over Memorial Day weekend while Pete and I were in Wisconsin with our mud truck and a group of friends. KK was helping Grandpa take down the existing cedar deck to put up the new maintenance free one. He's really a great helper with any tool. He loves to be in the garage, working on anything with Pete. He knows how to use the air compressor and air up tires, thinks that's pretty cool.

Church Picnic

Today was the family picnic at church. We all enjoyed the delicious food, warm weather and visiting with friends. Karson especially like the inflatable jumping gyms and pink cotton candy!

KK thought this was great. When the kids would get to jumping, he would just bounce from head to toe and laugh.

Pigs in the Mud

Now this is what you call dirty boys! Sunday when we returned home from Sioux Falls, Karson was thrilled to be able to go to G & G Kolb's and play with cousins Andrew & Jeremy. They had the hose out, making a mud pit for the tonka trucks. Apparently, Karson thought he should run threw it, stomp and sit in it.
