Keeping Up With Karson

Boy, these days keeping up with Karson is a challenge to say the least. He is ever changing, truly amazes us daily. We are blessed with a very sharp, loving, polite and delightful young boy. He doesn't forget anything, doesn't miss a beat. Keep us on our toes 24-7. As I was looking back at the previous update from his 3 year well visit, I realized in the past 6 months he has grown 2 inches taller, weighs 9 lbs more and his feet have grown 2 sizes. WOW! His speech is so clear, his sentences and creativity with words are mature. I listened to him saying his prayers the other night, he was making up his own words with no real rhyme or reason but it was very cute. Next week he will complete his kindergarten screening. We have decided that with the very vast ethnicity in the public schools here and many of those children having special needs as well as other reasons, that we are going to send Karson to a private Christ centered school. We enrolled him at Peace Lutheran preschool this fall, 2 days a week. We are uncertain if he will be ready for kindergarten the following year as he will just turn 5 right when school starts. He may get a second year of full time preschool or he will be enrolled in Trinity Lutheran School just a few miles from our home in North Morristown, MN. It's exciting yet sad to think about the future and how quickly he is growing up. Enjoying our time with him!

Easter 2012

Karson dashed way out in front of the other kids to get eggs and then he realized I was not beside him. Big tears and a terrified look on his face came next. Mom saved the day though and we came home with lots of goodies.

Big cheesy smile. Pictures is a bit blurry...it was rainy the entire day.
Hey, how did the Easter bunny get in our basement to hide that basket in the chair?
